Trip to Koiteli Rapids
In our trip to Koiteli rapids we take you from the city centre of Oulu to Koiteli rapids.
In Koiteli you can try guided canoeing, enjoy a snack by the fire and have a self-guided hike around beautiful Koiteli area.
Trip includes transportation Oulu - Koiteli -Oulu, guided introduction to canoeing (1 hour),
small snack and coffee/tea, self-guided hike.
Possibility to try fishing (extra cost).
Duration: 3-4 hours
Group size: min 4 persons
Price: 50 € / person
Fee includes: West, paddles, canoe, guiding, sausages, coffee/tea and sweet bun.

Koiteli rapids in Kiiminkijoki river - popular recreational area near Oulu
Koitelinkoski rapids is easily accessible from the city of Oulu.
After only half an hour's drive you arrive to this unique place where you can enjoy watching the timeless flow of water through the rocky landscape and small islands.
Rafting at the spring time
In the spring time when water is running high also white water rafting can be organized in Koiteli.
Season for white water rafting is not long - that is why we mainly concentrate on longer paddling programs on canoes and kayaks.
Canoeing at the summer time
In summer our canoeing programs take place either upstream or downstream from Koiteli in Kiiminkijoki river.
Our canoe trips take you into the calmer waters with only small, class I rapids.
In some of our canoe trips there is a chance to see Koiteli from the shore and relax by the fire in Tunnelmatupa, enjoying a cup of coffee or a well earned meal.
